At the top of the Rocky Steps lies one of the best art museums in America
Barnes Foundation Art Museum
One of the world’s finest private collections turned museum, with a fun backstory. Philadelphia sued to break up a trust set up by the collector stating the art must stay in his house. Modern on the outside, the inside walls are an exact replica, to the millimeter, of the original collector’s house!
Rodin Museum
Largest collection of Rodin sculptures and work outside of Paris
Eastern State Penetentiary
An old prison you can take a cool tour of and grab a beer at after in the prison yard beer garden. Al Capone and other notorious prisoners have spent time here. It is said to be haunted so watch out for ghosts!
Just Walking Around
City Hall / Love Park
Quite iconic and it's literally impossible to miss considering it marks the dead center of the city. Cross the street into Love Park for some classic Philly photos
Rittenhouse Square Park
Saturday there is a great farmer’s market here. A great place to walk around or sit and relax
Schuykill River Trail
Pronounced "Skoo - kill" Follow the trail north up towards the art museums for a lovely little walk. Continue if you want to Boathouse Row before turning around
